SO, I get a trio of U-Haul U-Boxes here on wednesday.

I'm still packing things up but I'm reaching that weird point where boxes aren't quite full but I can't find anything to fit in the space left

Which is a pretty good sign as far as progress goes, but it years of RPGs and tetris-style inventories have made it so this sort of thing really bothers me.

Anyway, I hired some people to come help move everything out of the apartment and into the boxes, since there's a few bits that will be nearly impossible for me to get alone.

The boxes will be picked up and shipped to california on friday, at which point, I hit the road myself to drive across the country.

I hope to plurk a little bit more before I go. Maybe even liveplurking from the road? (not while driving, ofc)

I know there was someone who wanted to see how my bed works, and I'm going to get pics when I break that down. Oh, and I have indeed been thinking more on RP stuff, so I'll make a plurk for that too.

Anywho, back to putting things into plastic bins and fretting over my packing efficiency

OH RIGHT BEFORE I GO: good news, I got an agreement with the rental company. They'll try and release the apartment as soon as I'm out, and once it's rented I'm off the hook for the rest of my lease. Not perfect, but better than having to pay the whole thing.
