I have to get back to my Pokemon Black playthrough, but that means grinding and probably retiring Parfait the Vanillite or evolving it....
The idea of feeling the need to evolve or retire a Pokémon is nearly foreign to me. If they aren't strong enough, they aren't high enough of a level!!
Though even I would likely evolve a Magikarp or Caterpie level Pokémon.
I'm just really attached to the tiny little ice cream cone.

But I've maxed out its basic stats already via artificial means.

I think Parfait is the highest-leveled mon on my team.
IDK what to do about everyone else, I'll probably look up an ideal team roster for the Elite Four later.
I'm keeping Parfait if I can though.
I'm pretty sure I one-shotted one of the gyms with just Parfait.

Well, it was one of the gyms where the elemental type was weak to ice.

Also it becomes much easier since I am too lazy to go for the more difficult Pokémon to add to my Pokédex, so I feel less pressure to get the easier ones.
Though I seem to vaguely recall White is weird about EXP, so I don't know if that will help or hinder my lower evolution motion. We shall see!
i found that black/white were paced very well up until just before the elite four
when all of a sudden it was a LOT harder to grind and everything was way higher level and i was on the struggle bus

Which is amazing that I feel THAT is where the effort is when I grind without ever using EXP share. I always train every Pokémon individually.
