Had my first official meeting, mostly just planning for further investigations

We will be doing a small investigation at a historical site in Palmyra, NY in the Spring

As well as a four day trip to Gettysburg in May

We may also do some research on a supposed interdimensional amorphic blob in a nearby park which the experienced members have deemed is "looking for a mate"

Who knows what will happen when it finds one <_<

But I guess it's been stuck in the park for a while

The main goal of the team is to learn more about its existence

So far they've been able to capture an extremely high EVP reading in the area, and have seen "the blob" on infared

But so far we've decided it's benevolent and the team has no interest in removing it from the area

The elder members of the team (Kraig, our exorcist, Cookie, our medium, and Keith, our tech guy) were called to a haunting two weeks ago where they encountered an particularly nasty "demonic" type creature

Though we tend to stay away from the label of "demon", the spirit had obviously never been human

It had been responsible for harassing the household members, talking to the children, scratching people, and throwing household objects

I guess it gave Cookie a run for her money, but Kraig managed to capture it in black tourmaline and they buried it in the ground

So far all signs of spiritual activity have stopped in the house

So A+ work. I aspire to be at their level one day

EVPs and infrared readings are still being sorted through from the Fort Ontario investigation

A meeting on that should be coming soon, and I've heard a few members got some excellent recordings

In the meantime, the older members of the team have encouraged me to take some classes on spirit communication

I'm also going to start learning how to read tarot. Pretty psyched for that.
