Sometimes it's really hard to be inspired and resist comparison to people you look up to. Not just in terms of art. But also their success and relationships.
There's an artist I really like, that I also follow. He grew up playing a lot of the same games I did, he draws a lot of fanart for them in his own unique style. He's working on making his own game, he's a well
known artist with a strong following, he's the same age as me, he's been married for 10 years. Part of me is envious at first, because I could have been there, if I really wanted it. Or at least that's what I
say as a lie to myself. In reality, yes that does hold some water, but it's also that everyone's path in life is different. I look at myself and just feel like a mess. But I know that I have to keep trying.
Things will work out, as long as I put my best efforts into it. I hope.
