These assholes are delusional
Not to mention a total violation of amendment rights
the denial of trump supporters is unreal
some of them told me Trump doesn't hate Mexicans and he's not racist...
I honestly think it was all campaign rhetoric, I don't know if he will have the conscience to isolate all the Mexican-Americans and Latinos and Muslim-Americans.
But it scares me that such talk, even if debated down by a TV host, opens up the door for "why don't we?" kind of consideration.
Not to draw Nazi analogies, but if there were ever an occasion to do that, this is it. I wonder if this was how Jews in Germany wear asked to wear the star of David on their arms.
Different reasons perhaps, end result is always the same. The momentum builds up pretty quickly when hatred is spewed from all sides, especially the ones who hold the power.
I live in a country where more than 50,000 people have been killed in Kashmir and elsewhere and every nationalist, right-wing extremist of MY religion calls for similar measures against Muslims.
So many people I interact with daily, who seem reasonable in real life share these views on isolating Islam and it scares me that some day, it may all boil down to a bloody all or nothing war based on religion
They may very well have a reason due to the bloody and violent terrorists this country has had to face over the years, but I also know that there are reasonable people in every religion...
...who just wants to get by in life, go back to their children after a long day's work and lead a peaceful life.
He doesn't hate Mexicans he likes them when they make his tacos, other than that he calls them rapists and criminals.
Rogan_Diesel: I agree. Some of my best friends are Muslims a few live in the US and they're terrified. There's good and evil people of every race and religion.
profiling based on race or religion doesn't work, and it's just unfair, we should know better by now.
RoslinPetion: it may sound paranoid, but I worry about a wag the dog scenario where they arrange one
