I was in the movies to see Miss Peregrine's, 'n The Great Wall trailer came on and I kid you not, this kidlet next to me said that as a joke to his other friends.
I was happy I wasn't drinking anything at the time, would've sporfled.
Oh, he's a Chinese emperor is he lolol
Someone needs to tell him it's not the mongols (Mexicans) you gotta worry about
But really, I wasn't expecting the Finnish kids to be so American-politically-savvy that they could make 'any wall reference can be turned into a Trump joke' comments.
Also, I totally want to see that movie now, looked like fun.
wait till you see Got jokes, also you crashed.
Well...American politics affects more than just America so I'm not so shocked...same thing going on here in Canada
We talk about American politics more than our own
Yah, but he was like TWELVE, I swear. Not even a teenager yet.
might grow up to be a pundit
He and his friends were chuckling at the Trolls trailer where one of the trolls drops muffin feces out of shock. It was clearly the best entertainment ever. That age. 'n then the Trump reference. *laughs
Also as a random sidenote: all the flag-waving for Eva Green, she's so awesome.
Also random Miss Peregrine's commentary: I loved the visuals, naturally, 'n the actors were great, but I felt myself side-eyeing a lot at the story 'n its ...I shall call them Principles of Magic.
Trying not to think about them so I don't get all 'red marks on the script' 'n just keep the 'oh that was cool' feel. *laughs
I had a mixed reaction to Miss Peregrine's too, it wasn't you. The magic didn't bother, but the main character did.
it wasn't just you, I meant lol
SunshineTentacles: I felt they were breaking generally accepted timetraveling rules left and right, it was really strange. ...like time travel magic version of what Twilight did to vampires.
You just go 'waitaminute, that's not how it works!'
Well, in fiction, you can make up your own magic rules, so that never really bothers me. Actually, I like to see new interpretations myself, but I can understand preferring a particular version.
