the lemon and lime experiments... started with a ceramic press. Left too much juice in the fruit. Paint got chipped.

went stainless steel. Hinge went out of alignment, too much juice left behind. But easy to clean... and recycle in the metals bin.

Got a stainless steel reamer with a catch basin, but it has a collander-like perforated base that makes it hard to clean, juice gets caught in the holes, too.

ordering a hardened glass reamer with a simple basin without a perforated intermediary juice-trapping/pulp-wasting level. This should do it.

all this because slicing up a lemon or limeinto wedges and squeezing them is just too simple.
I have an old fashioned glass reamer and it works perfectly. I use it for lime/lemon in my mixed drinks.
