Hmm mine worked fine. I have not used it in forever and ever and ever, but I remember having no trouble with it.

Wacom has always had weird driver issues with touch sensitivity/pressure sensitivity. Usually what works is if I open the tablet preference file utilty and select "Remove" for all user preferences it fixes it

Just need to re-set up your settings afterwards.

I have the same problem all the time inclusive with the drivers, sometimes I must reinstall it or restart the Wacom service. It's so tedious!!
