Parents' attempts to make me go to church are hitting cold war territory. It's all very passive-aggressive guilt trippy.

Half expecting the ultimatum of 'if you don't go tonight you can't sleep here' which honestly wouldn't be much loss, the mattress is crap.
...of course if this escalates I might go home early. Silver lining.
Fingers crossed it escalates.
If it comes to that point, think I'm just gonna come out to them while I'm at it and get all of my being a disappointment out in the open!
lol might as well. Maybe they'll stop bothering you to visit all the time.
Oh no then they'll just try to pray away my gay. Or tell me I can't be since I'm married and I've resisted Satan's temptations.
They can pray from their own house.
Of all the things my parents could have been, I'm always glad they only have a passing acquaintance with religion.
Not gonna lie though, I'm selfishly with Heather on this one, hoping they'll continue to be ass-y so you can come home early.
My parents are religious but they stopped trying to push it on me and my brothers once we were legal adults and no longer obligated to go to church anymore
My parents will never stop pushing. Ever. But I've officially waited to late to go so we will see how this plays out.
