Embarrassing: I've fallen on the apartment stairs twice before, on the same leg. Guess I should have taken the hint. Third strike (carrying baby, she's fine, thank GOD), I'm out. Stepping (hah) up house hunt.

insurance line nurse and they said it should be x-rayed, wound up at the same hospital that delivered my baby and it turned out there was a hip repair specialist on call. They checked with the birth center for

baby equipment and to find out what painkillers I could have and still nurse her. Staying with in-laws because I can't go pick up bb properly and they have a first-floor shower.

Ow! May you heal completely soon!

How old it your baby? I really hope the in-laws can give you lots of help; taking care of a new baby is hard enough without adding a major injury!
