Yorolaie has issues he has moved through. He had a lot of tension with his father Darryn and they had to have family therapy to get past it.

Basically, Yorolaie's appearance was making Darryn have very unwanted prejudice thoughts because Darryn is a Sun God and Yorolaie is all the dark hair and pale skin. Very much a shadowy type of being.

Also Darryn is the on who cut off Yorolaie's arm. Even though he HAD to in order to save Yorolaie's life, he still had some anger toward Darryn for taking his arm.

So, those were some of his issues he's had to work through.

As for Solen and her issues. What would you like to know about them? I am super happy to talk about her mother.

Yorolaie is Thanatos and Darryns baby who looks not at all like Darryn, but almost identical to Thanatos. So yeah XD;
