Today I had meat (turkey) for the first time in a week & I can definitely feel the difference in how my body feels. Not liking it.

I've been eating pretty much only raw fruits & veggies and some bread for the past week. It's felt SO good.
Well, I only ever eat poultry & sometimes seafood. Haven't had anything w/ 4 legs in over 10 years. But when I don't eat it often I just
feel different afterwards.
Wow. I tried going vegetarian once and I felt so sick, but I think it's because I never supplemented with vitamins.
That can definitely make a difference. I was veggie for a few months once, but I had low iron & ended up getting nose bleeds everyday.
I decided that having the occasional bit of meat was a better option, but never went back to red meat.
Yeah, I became anemic winter 07-08, but not due to lack of meat, more like digestive problems. I've got IBS, which means a lot of things,
including problems absorbing nutrients/vitamins, which meant my vitamins weren't even helping, and I wasn't getting enough in iron in my
diet. It was pretty freaky
