also, the answer is no, you dont have to use the voice chat feature, the text chat is what it's all about.

ahh my friend was telling me about discord, I will have to check this out

it works on like... every device ever, and the webapp is great on its own

if you dont like a chat and don't want to be a part of it too you can just right click a name and hit mute

it's pretty full featured

this is mostly for OOC stuff I think although there are a couple IC chats as well
