SO I thought about the paladin idea (Ringo's PC class) last night and I thought, "hey, it would be cool if they came from a snowy region!!!"
because snowy region = cold weather + heavy armour and most importantly, MOUNTS would be a really awesome setting
heavy mounts too, like armoured horses or bears. Polar bears would be epic tbh
snow tigers as mounts would be cool too. I can't decide
saber-toothed tigers, to be exact
so lvl 180 ringo has a large furry mount!! Yay
PCs need to go there (need a place name) and complete quests to become the paladin (or the token heavy-knight) class.
I also thought deep and hard about Wataru's race -- the vampires/blood-suckers/what-have-you
They're totes cool! and regal! and strong!! but mostly the regal kind who lives for so long, they hardly reproduce and so their numbers are limited (reserved for bosses)
in Grandcha's setting, they're a race that has amassed a great amount of wealth, and are centralised vampire island (tentative name: Crescent Moon island)
and since all vampires are bijin and big shots, all the NPCs there are super regal, cool, bling and look as if they're living in the golden age of the renaissance period
it's a city that also acts as a dungeon because - while they have inns, restaurants and whatnot -- the vampire citizens can be hostile and nicks the HP bit by bit!
you can try to fight back, but then the surrounding vampire NPCs would join in too
I guess it'd be funny if there was a PC group who tried to conquer this place and killed off the NPCs (because players like to do weird things).
in the end, they killed off all the harm-able NPCs but then nothing happened by way of the game system because the crucial 'event' NPCs can't be harmed
and the game forum was in an uproar
thr group probably had 100+ players or so in an area, though, and the game lagged pretty badly...
because the vampires has this kind of setting, the company makes their production fairly limited-edition
like,... if you're in a guild, and you want to make a vampire NPC, you have to get the 'permit item' first
and your guild has to rank in the top 500 (Wiz level) or the top 5000 (Aichuu, LoveLive...very competitive rhythm games) and it's not an easy feat.......
whoever participated skipped a couple of their classes, suffered at work due to lack of sleep, received scorns from their peers etc because it shows the players' level of 'determination'.
so Wataru is premium stuff
I like to think that players need to get 'permits' to create any NPC additions to their guild, really
at the opposite scale, there's also Philo who's a.... chipmunk?? of sort??
I want him to be a tiny beast/nekomimi race like ff14's lalafell because small things are really cute!!!!!!!!
and he's a squirrel. This race would be squirrel-based, and they ride on gigantic squirrels because the more fluff they're surrounded by, the better
and their camp is in a forest. Yeah!!!
sobbs the inspirations are coming and I want to draw them uguus but!! I also need to get used to CSP first
(upgraded to Win10 and my SAI doesn't work anymore)
...yeah, I mostly thought about these three last night
tiny furries who lives in a forest... regal sadists with intense makeup... and heavy armoured class in a snowy region
Philo :
np bro! We all have those moments... I also haven't been in a social mood lately so ergh >v>'"
also, TINY THINGS ARE CUTE, TINY THINGS ARE JUSTICE!!! I love him to bits hngggh ///
