I can't decide if "Hubby on Demand" as a name for a repair service is a little clever and funny, or if it's horribly offensive.

It got you talking about it and now you'll probably remember it, so: clever.

I'll take a slightly different perspective because, well, I have a totally different perspective. :-P But I find it funny too because I get that it's intended to be clever and it actually sorta is. :-))

I take it with the humor intended; I'm finding a lot of generational misunderstanding due to various issues but yah, first time I saw one of these 'titles' I got a giggle.

Since I'm not into renting a hubby, maybe I can find a Josephine the Plumber. (LOL)

There actually is a handywoman place nearby , and an auto-repair business in Madison that's owned and employs mostly women. Don't start! :-D

It gets better. The auto repair is called Dutch's. I'm sure there's no chance at all that refers to a different tag. :-))

That name is almost as good as Mabel Peabody's Beauty Shop and Chainsaw Repair. Which is an actual LGBT bar in Denton, TX.

Even better... I used to date girl who really was quite handy, but she had some lousy power tools. NOT Hitachi, but regular home repair type. So I got her a set of multiple cordless ones at Christmas. (LOL)

It's not like a hb buying a new vacuum. (rofl) She loved it and I did give other gifts as well but seemed like a perfect and thoughtful bonus gift. Had to make sure I clarified what kind of tools. :-))
It's Moira!

It's only not offensive if they offer a happy ending.
