i broke my rule of not editing the thing late at night cause my beta lives in japan rn and timezones

and that isn't helping either

but

i kind of had to explain why [insert depressing element] needed to stay in the fic due to it being, uh, kind of crucial for explaining one of the things that the whole rest of the fic/series will remember and

go back to when relevant and oh my god i am so drained

and just, being important to that chapter in particular because that's what i can show instead of the other scene i'm NOT writing due to the other scene fucking with the rating
