Mine was low key, but nice.

Some how the missionary calls of the last two years seem to have countered my previous super negative feelings about mother's day.

mine was also low key, which is how I prefer it. Chocolate was involved plus a video chat with my son. Though he is no longer on a mission, it was still fun to hear from him.

I also received a brief communication from M, plus we made calls to our moms. It is a good family connection day.

glad you lovely mums had nice mother's days. We don't celebrate it at the same time of year over here.
