i though i rigged the head but i didn't. why life why. no good youtube vids about it ether since they are for older blender version and the options aren't in 2.77... and can't afford avastar. ugh. dead end.
actually no cos it seems to be grey now that i try to re upload it to sl. maybe i didn't rig it properly or something...i mean i know next to nothing about rigging so that is possible.
you don't want joint positions checked- just skin weights (which is weird and counter intuitive until you get into more of that and it makes more sense). if skin weights isn't allowed to be checked, then it's
not rigged. joint weights can do some really wacky shit if it is checked and you haven't done any of that stuff (it's for deforming the shape of the avatar, not just rigging).
ALSO. i totally forgot about the problem you're going to have with 2 UVs- you may have already found this out, but the uploader gets super confused when you have multiple UVs in blender and often picks the
wrong one. i recommend either making a copy of your object before export that you remove the other UV (the one for projecting) from, or nuking it and not saving the file (since you may want that info still)
ye i removed the eyes and gonna upload thrm and their textures seperately. the head has just on uv now.. i'll try to upload another head today with your instructions. too bad the test grid won't let me upload
