Well, I write him with a lot of ers and ahs, which is not entirely accurate to his character. He's very bombastic in his dialogue, so I have to remind myself to let him get flowery sometimes.

Also I have to remind myself to hew to his canon shit now that JJ is over.

Basically it's tough for me to remember that he doesn't trust anyone, or like anyone, or like himself, or do anything without it being self-centered, after he changed so much in JJ.

And with Pearl, it was really annoying but I had to remember that she canonically cannot spell.

Because in the JP she can't read kanji and she accidentally swaps one when she has to reassemble a broken urn, but in English she has to literally misspell a three letter word.

SO when I played Pearl I had to actually work up to her being able to misspell only a few words

which is why I preferred to do logs with her.

Also there are a lot of things that Pearl canonically does that are INSANE. Like most people don't remember there was a time when she ran from her way the fuck out there mountain village to the city.
