Hahah... Earth tones are always pretty. I have never had vaulted ceilings before so I'm not sure what to do with all that vertical space

We've got the same conundrum with the cathedral ceilings. It's nice because it feels more open but the wall spaces are huge.

Stay on the lighter side of whatever color you choose. What says warm & cozy to you, earthiness, beach blues or greens, fall reds or yellow?

Choose a palette that you like & that you can incorporate into the halls & such as your carry through color for the whole house.
