ryan is god, jack is jesus and fontaine is the devil or some such thing. i don't know, i've never read scripture or gone to church, but there's some heavy implications there.

peppersaltand vinegar is a rhythm-keeping song, iunno. viktor's nickname is vinegar, i wanted some sort of wordplay since he hates his nickname and he hates wordplay. ayyy.

1hp is a reference to the fact that sans has literally 1 hp, 1 attack and 1 defense, and the only thing keeping him alive is his absolutely OP agility. if anyone so much as knocked into him too hard,

he'd be dust. but lucky for him, he can basically foresee anything like that just enough to dodge it, although... he can still be caught by surprise, and that worries him constantly.

burntbridges is A REALLY TERRIBLE JOKE BECAUSE SHE DIES IN A FIRE, and also because she's kind of terrible toward everyone and, well, burns a lot of bridges. i think the quote "the bridges i burn will light

the way" really describes letha.

also, iunno if I'll ever find a place for carlos, but he's still a strong muse, so. roadburns is another terrible joke, because he dies after being dragged through the city tied to the back of a truck and

having all his skin ripped off by the road, so.
