LEGENDARIES - I am not a huge legendary fan. I'll admit it. I never use them in my teams and only ever really catch them/download them for completion's sake.

However, I do like MewTwo, because the first Pokémon movie is still my favorite. I'd say my other two favorites would be....I guess Articuno and Shaymin, land form.

Articuno was the first legendary I ever caught and it took me FOREVER so there was a definite feeling of accomplishment, there.

TYPING: I love the normal type.

Because it just.... makes more sense to me than other types I guess. There's a lot of diversity in the normal grouping and it pairs well with flying with is another favorite type for me.

Top 5: Furret, Snorlax, Rattata, Pidgeot, Zigzagoon.

Type I can't stand... none? I really don't have a type where I dislike it for any reason. The one I tend to train the least is probably ghost, though.
