So I've been trying to call the phone company and get them to reset the PIN on my voicemail, because even though I remember the number I chose, the phone isn't accepting it.
Unfortunately their hotline requires me to enter my PIN to continue, and as I don't remember the PIN...
For added fun, I went to their shop at the mall and asked the guy there if he could help. he said he couldn't and I needed to call the hotline. The one that asks for my PIN.

nope, it goes straight to "I need your PIN before we can proceed". If there's a way to get to a real person I haven't found it yet
