My first Pokémon memory: Summer vacation. Looking at cartoons on TV with my little baby brother and seeing an anime on TV with a ridiculously cute Fox monster on it.
Then the fox monster could breathe fire and I was like 'OH HOLY COW'
It was the episode where Brock got his Vulpix.
A side note being I met my Wife through Pokémon RP back in 2000, so, uh. Probably if not for Pokémon I would not have met Mistie nor be married to her.
While I'm not as huge into the series as I once was, it will always be pretty special to me.
