Iron Chef Shounen offers 3 dishes. First, curry m yakisoba with minced tamagoyaki on top. When his tamagoyaki came out too soft he improvised, providing a heavy yet suitable taste for the Japanese palate
Second, picked plum rubbed mackerel on buttered choy and onions. Shounen wanted to make two typically stronger ingredients more mild, so he used plum and butter respectively
Finally, to finish the meal, Shounen offers a common household bento ingredient, spicy sausage cut and onion boiled in the shape of an octopus. Good on the plate and in a lunch box
