I very suddenly for no apparent reason can't access google over the 'untrusted' error, but there's no 'I understand the risk' to add an exception
manually adding exceptions in the certificate window settings thing makes no difference
the suggested 'view frame in new window' from firefox's own help does not work
importing new certificates from my antivirus does not work
deleting the certificate file from firefox and restarting it so it resets does not work
trying a different proxy and deactivating the SLS thing does not work
I can access EVERY SITE BUT GOOGLE, and I can for some reason even access google translate, but not google itself
..........................????????? what the heck...
I wish I could help but I'm very
like I get that firefox and kaspersky are both oversensitive, but this is actually ridiculous
also yes my date and time are displaying correctly
right?? I don't even know what to do with this anymore
The latest few firefox updates have been insane, which is why I jumped ship to Pale moon
this didn't happen in conjunction with an update though! which is even more puzzling
The untrusted thing is a thing they are doing now, with the latest few updates, and they are causing many sites and addons to not work.
I don't know why it is happening now for you, though
I'd understand if it was ANY OTHER SITE, but GOOGLE?
oh yeah, I've encountered the error before, but could usually get rid of it after I jumped through a few hoops, but ... it's been an hour and a half and I can't find any solution to this
and I KIND OF NEED GOOGLE HONESTLY
the fact that I can access google translate but not google itself is what's puzzling me most
like, shouldn't they be under the same certificate?
I can access google if I completely turn off the antivirus, so I know it's something between firefox and kaspersky, but I don't know what and I've tried everything I can think of
Does your antivirus have a check certificates function?
unsure of what exactly you mean, but none that I can find
I can find and install the certificate for kaspersky itself, but nothing that checks it on firefox for me , which makes sense, as they are on firefox
nods Some antiviruses have functions where they check the security of web pages on browsers and block them if they doubt them.
yeah, and obviosly this is something between the antivirus and firefox, but I can't figure out how to bypass it at this point, so .. .???
google displays just fine on chrome, for the record
so it's not solely kaspersky either
highly doubt it, but I'll run a quick scan to be sure.
