Yeah mine were different. I ranked 2 flags. The second from left as my first choice and the most right one as second

I did red peak at number one. Black fern variant at 2, red variant as 3, plain black fern as 4 and koru 5. iirc

All of the flags are butt ugly, but red peak is the most pleasing to look at. All the others are so busy, and lots of rounded lines.

Too complex for flag designs. Red peak is nice and clean. Reminds me of south African flag re how geometric it is

i didn't vote for that one /because/ it looked so African. it would suit somewhere really well but idk how well suited it is to NZ

I ranked Red Peak as number 5 because it's nothing to do with New Zealand. I've read the crap the artist spewed out, but it's still just some lines and colours that the artist like

if i'd designed one i probably would've done a bright, cheerful green with a blue circle in the middle (or a triangle for a mountain) with a brown kiwi in the centre.

red, blue and white and black aren't really the right colours for this country. people are just picking them 'cause they're used to having those colours on the flag

if i'd seen those 5 final designs before the draw-a-flag thing closed i would've submitted something.
