Techy question! Ever since I did a factory reset on my computer, my mouse is bad. If I click once, it'll double-click (which means I TP around when I don't mean to, among other things), or it won't respond to

clicks, single or double, so I have to try several times. I've never really experienced this, anyone know what could cause it? It's a high-end mouse, made for gaming, not some $10 POS...

#2 depends on what version of Windows. I think as of 8.1, they added some windows mouse settings that will override the driver behavior

I don't know the specifics, as I mostly use a laptop and deal with touchpad issues.

Oh, lovely. Yes, I went back to 8.1 from 10 because my mom's internet is so slow that 10 won't even recognize the connection. Starting to think I should upgrade again though. Even with the privacy issues.

Oh yeah, well, this is a laptop, but touchpads drive me nuts so I got a mouse for it when I first bought it. LOL

I'm afraid it's what [Repair mouse with double click problem - All this] says - the mouse is worn and maybe dirty inside. :-(
