For context, Darc has only just met his mother after thinking she was dead for all this time, he was angry about it and wanted to leave her behind in the enemy base, but Lilia said he had to rescue them both

It's funny to me because Darc is being so self-involved and obnoxious and whiny WHILE HIS MOTHER IS DYING

some interesting trivia? Kharg is voiced by the same VA as Reno in Advent CHildren, and Axel in KH.

it's one of the big reasons Darc can really come off as a dick to anyone from a different canon. All Deimos talk like that, it's normal for them.
