OVERALL, I think it was my terrible LotR marysue OC. The only saving grace was that she wasn't a self-insert, but she was also both boring and, like, 2edgy4u in all the wrong ways

Her name was Donbaliel but she went by the nickname Ella (????? try to figure that one out) and I played her in private AIM chats with a small group of friends when I was in middle school.

In journal RP, before the LJ revolt, that was Young Neil from Scott Pilgrim. I was really intimidated and confused by journal-based RP before I was talked into that one

I was playing him in a sort of dying tumblr-based group before that, and one of the only remaining members convinced me I could go to LJ without being really out of my depth and crying lmao

I'M REALLY GLAD I WAS ABLE TO BE TALKED INTO IT, i had a lot of fun in that game (now defunct) and here i am all this time later, with a bunch of journals & some lovely new friends <3

I miss playing Neil, a lot. I still try throwing him out there every now and then.
