Like really really really tired.
My position is still entry-level after nearly five years, my salary is maybe 20% higher than the entry-level pay for a QA tester, and yet
both my work and the work load has to be for someone... 2-3 levels higher...
got dumped with so much work today I actually felt like crying by late afternoon
I was firing off one email every 15 minutes to the business users, to the developers, to foreign consultants who for whatever goddamned reason keep forgetting that they've already taken all my resources
and are still asking if I have capacity to take on more work
oh no, not ask, they assume that I have capacity to take on more work
And today I learned of a "project manager" in our office who does nothing the whole day but watch videos on Youtube.
why am I doing TL/BA work on an ~associate~ tester's salary god
right, because I'm afraid it'll reflect badly on me if I refuse to take on work.
