I cut myself ( with a butterknife, of all things, sheesh!) while try to pry apart some frozen chicken, deep enough to strike the tendon.

My pinkie finger was essentially not able to be flexed at all, which made me very, very worried that I'd cut through the tendon.

Again. Butterknife.

Edaigoa , being the best roommate, braved the ridiculously intense storm to get me to the er and get it looked at.

Thankfully it seems unlikely that the tendon has been cut completely... but surgery may still be necessary. I'm going to have to follow up with a specialist.

I just really REALLY hope that I can keep up class during the injury... otherwise my graduation and licensure are delayed for another 3 months ;_;

NGL I almost started crying in the room when I thought about not being able to graduate with the people that I'd been with throughout this past year.
