how I'll keep this up with a FTE position if I've been teaching half time since Jan and spring break is my first time on Plurk since then.
The blog and Twitter are in a similar stagnant state.
Welcome back! How are things going? (aside from really busy... )
Pretty well I think. I'm going to be applying for another job for the coming year - the teacher who was thinking about retiring won't be.
It's kind of a bummer to have to look for something new, but there is a lot of required curriculum at this school, and I'd like some more
control and ability to plan my units and that sort of thing. I'm hoping to get something at a middle school, but we'll see. Rough market.
JackieB: How are you doing? Last time I was on it sounded like you were in a pretty rough part of life.
I'm sorry you have to look for a new position- although it sounds like that place isn't a great fit for you. I'm doing okay, thank you.
Busy: grad school, work school, consulting, ... but hanging in there.
That does sound busy! Hopefully things calm down - do you have a spring break coming up?
