What is some place in SL you have always wanted to go to but have never been? Or just somewhere you have never searched for but woudl love to go it if it existed?

I know that there's a place I've always wanted to create in SL...but lack of funds keeps that from happening.

I've always wanted to do a submerged town. Like a big sinkhole opened up, and just swallowed the whole thing. And in the middle of it all have the ruins of a massive cathedral.

One spire sticking up just barely out of the water, with the other one broken off and lying on its side at the bottom of the lake.

With people's belongs strewn across the lakebottom, and with lots of fish and plants growing among the ruins.

that scene would remind me of the end of SPOILER Planet Of The Apes (the original)

The idea was actually based on this piece of music:
Michelangeli - Debussy - La Cathedrale engloutie

(But he plays it too fast, and without the right amount of drama that it requires.)

Back when I had a sim I have about 1/3 underwater I had some ruins of a castle. There where lots of fish and plants etc. I even had a few hidden rooms and passageways.

I have always like to have some kind of hidden tunnels or places on land I have. I have largely been disappointed by the lack of underwater places in SL.

Though mind you there are some amazing places.

Skye, that woudl be good music to have playing at your underwater cathedral I could imagine hearing that and seeing faint light streaming in from above. Some coming through ruined stained glass.

Exactly! That was what I'd pretty much envisioned...with the light streams coming down through the water, and ghostly music in the background. :-))

Actually thinking about it That all reminds me some of Endless Ocean Blue World on the Wii. I wish they woudl do a sequel to that.
