so, this might just be me! and i do kind of get the idea that most people don't want to watch a show that's 80% subtitles.

but god do i find the 'everyone in every country magically speaks English' thing unpleasant.

it's not just you. "everyone in every country speaks accented english all the time" is a tired old thing and it just. No.

again, i get the idea! and i get why it's necessary. it's just. really grating, especially when the actors play up their accents as a result.

"by the way, we're in latin america! nobody speaks Spanish to each other, but you'll know we're in latin america because of hokey Spanish accents!!" wash & repeat for India, Korea, Nairobi, Germany (Berlin?)...

aside from that, it's cute? a little over-the-top, but. Wachowskis.
