Hey all. Been busy with con work and with getting back to 100% health. Doctor visit on Friday said it was a "hot disc" in my neck. Meds and treatment have me back to about 100%.
Now I'm working my ass off for the convention, even if I did have a setback which has me PISSED OFF>
My annual e-mail to the pre-registered attendees with "How do I get my badge?", "How to get to the con", "When can I get my badge" and other things ended up getting stonewalled AFTER I wrote it.
So it's sitting in limbo because the Webmaster (who is a friend of mine) said I was "violating protocol" by sending out an announcement to the pre-registered attendees.
And that if I wanted to do that, I would need Chair-level approval.
Thing is, I HAVE TWO VICE CHAIR S WHO WERE WORKING ON THIS E-MAIL WITH ME.
Also, I BROUGHT THIS UP AT TWO STRAIGHT MEETINGS AND HAD NO COMPLAINTS COME FROM HIM OR ANYONE ELSE.
I've put about 4 hours into this message, what with getting information and maps and whatnot, and now it's just going to sit in fucking limbo. Great.
Also, I am GETTING ANNOYED at someone who SEEM TO HAVE a habit of writing PARTS OF THEIR E-MAILS in all caps BUT NOT THE entire thing.
It literally is giving me a headache.
