I always preferred baked rice puddings. They were a staple in our house when I was a kid, but most Americans go for a stove-top rice pudding style, more like kheer.

then again, most Americans buy rice pudding in plastic containers from the grocery store.

Simply love kheer and rice pudding, should make some, but usually end up buying the fresh-in-a-tub at the bakery...they throw in some fruit on top for the sweetening. i need a grammy.
