Grew up Mormon. I love the root of the faith, but man and politics have totally corrupted almost everything about the religion that I originally loved.

I still live by the core belief of personal responsibility/accountability versus community orthodoxy and rule enforcement.

Unfortunately, community politics basically now runs Mormonism and has soiled that core belief.

My parents and I used to be VERY active and highly respected members, but Mormonism has changed a lot in 10 years. All of us have basically left because we couldn't take it anymore.
