oh, yes. We had books, and a decent place to live (only because of my grandmother), but damned little else. Oh, and white privilege. It could have been far, far worse. Not too many things on plates, though.

All educated upper-middle class Indian children need to see that post...they actually believe they are better and special, just like in the cartoon, never acknowledging their 'inherent social privileges'
