You can use the search and find the groups, that is how I do it, like type in sl blogger, and then pick group search from the dropdown.

You can also looks for themed groups too, or shopping groups, there is lots you can type in. Sadly there is no one easy way to find flickr groups, other than that.

If you have lots of friends, you can see what groups their popular pictures are in.
