I'm ambivalent. There have been some really, really great casts on Broadway. So... adopting the "wait and see" attitude.
Network tv? Yeah no I don't think so. I'd watch a stage show but not on Network television. "The film’s sexual content shouldn’t be too difficult to navigate with a few trims." says it all.
I've seen a stage show, and the actors were clearly giving their all, and with great affection for the legacy.
I won tickets from a radio show, and my friend and I were the only two in our whole section talking back to the stage, because the season ticket holders did not get it
Been thinking of the "trims" needed to be made - it leaves a young couple arriving to a party, dance number, young couple seeing labratory creation of life (no dance number), seeing motorcycle guy number
and murder, then cannibalism with perhaps a ballad memorial of motorcycle guy, then monster being released, dogs being released, monster being captured. Floorshow (no pool scene) and aliens leaving earth. boom.
and the song for the Floorshow needs to be rewritten to write out references to Brad and Janet's sexual awakenings and Scott's perversion.
Rocky never speaks or sings.
