ravenbone the way this works, the mods will most likely be sorting people into ships. it's just a big mixed up applicant pool for now. however, captains can nominate individual positions, so you have that

ok we'll keep you apprised. definitely, if a ship gets established, you could both then sign up to that one.

there is actually a section in the application for mentioning people you've worked with or ships you've affiliated with

so feel free to include that info

im not sure what you mean! you mean immediately replace your first officer or in the future?

that'll be up to all players involved. u may want to add in your captains app that first mate position would have to be temporary

also: how would you apply if your character doesn't fit the given three slots?

esp if replacement isn't based on the skills and quality of that first assignment
