Last year for our second anniversary, he had an "anniversary comic cover" commissioned from a fairly reputable artist centering around Transformers two characters that were meant to be us.

And I absolutely adored it.

So this year, I'm going to surprise him back with the next anniversary cover, by a different artist, of the same two characters.

One of the things I love about Transformers is the subtle changes that happen when a new artist takes over drawing them.

So eventually I want a set of pictures of these characters maturing in design over the years, one for each year we've been together.

I've found a great artist to do this year's, and they've sent me a thumbnail mockup for the poses and I'm super fucking excited.
