me, too! the surgeon seemed pretty pleased and thinks her chances are really good. she goes to rehab and physical therapy as soon as she can.

Good—both will help her a lot now that the surgery is over.

she's doing LOTS better, thanks. the sister talked to her earlier, and said she sounded completely different than she did after her first surgery right after the accident. she is lucid, for one.

but she's on painkillers that are working, her doctors are all optimisitc, SHE is optimistic, and she sounds... happy.

which has been a while. so that's good.
