Have you tried Salonpas?

I have seen it, but haven't tried it yet. What's it like as compared to IcyHot or Tiger Balm.

It's weird. Richard has used them, I never did because I use my arnica sports rub for muscle aches. He used them while refereeing a couple times to help prevent injury or further injury from stepping in holes.
