So earlier this year I was dating this black dude, he turned out to be kinda weird and I told him I didn't want to see him anymore. When I go on dates I'm generally pretty careful, I tell people to call me
at a certain time etc. So I didn't think much of it when people were making jokes about finding my corpse etc (that sounds really more macabre than it was, but I have no other way to put that) so, fine
but when I told dude I didn't want to see him again a friend said "Well good, and maybe we can find you a nice white boyfriend!"
I am very rarely totally at a loss of what to say online or offline, but I had no way to respond to that. Sigh
