Busy!

It's going to be different, that's for sure! but hopefully KS will be our final destination unless we win the lotto

Thanks hun! Yeah, I've been ready to stick my foot in the ground and plant roots. I'm tired of moving and starting over and over again.

That's ok, but I'll never forget it! I still have it packed up somewhere I think, unless I gifted it to my sister maybe, I made a beaded swallowtail, and I even got a ribbon in the fair for it

It's hard enough moving locally, which i've also done, let alone to another state

Yeah, at least this move is the next state over, only 3 1/2 hrs away, so not too bad.

It's made me want to get rid of as much as possible so I have less to move!

I hear you! I had to downsize quite a bit this time, too much accumulation. Mind you, I didn't WANT to get rid of anything, haha, but the hubs...

I'm a packrat, I can't stand to get rid of things, but the more I move and the more I have to pack and unpack, it changes things lol

When we moved here, we got a basement for the first time, which meant more space... not so good when you have to move again to a smaller space. This move next month is only an interim move until he starts and

gets through the academy, then hopefully we can buy a house.

Oh so many things lol, other than kids and moving and getting remarried etc, just lots of crafting

Altho this week i've had the flu so I've done almost nothing

Yes! Actually I had my youngest in Jan 2011, went through a divorce, and then remarried, much more happily lol, tried my hands at my own small business, but it fizzled unfortunately

I had been hoping this year to go to cosmetology classes so I could do something else, but Olivia was one month too young for preschool

Small businesses are hard!!! I was doing photography for a while, but having to compete with all those who offer it for trade or free was tough, then went through a rough spot, so have (temporarily) stopped.

Are you going to try next year? One of my good friends here is a makeup artist, but she's mostly self-taught. MO doesn't require a cosmo license unless you're working at a salon.

I think I'd like to. I really would like to homeschool Olivia, and I want something I can do on the side, or even at home.

You should go for it! I know that industry has it's rewards. freelance can be up and down, as any freelance work is, but both my sister and friend love what they do and have a passion for it.

I just like to be independent, I've had too many other jobs in retail or foodservice, and hated it

I know what you mean! I might have to get a non-freelance job when I move, and I'm dreading it, I have no idea what I'd do, as there doesn't seem like anything I'd enjoy doing.

yea every time I think on having to get a job like taht... ugh

but then I so enjoy being home with the kids

enjoy it while you can! mine son in high school already time flies to quickly
