There's one more little epilogue post I'm gonna put up tomorrow, BUT
this is pretty much the end of Alpha Complex!
Thank you for your participation, Citizens.
Now let's see if Yomiel kills anyone.
/everyone looks at Horace and yomiel
haha, Horace and Yomiel in their lonely dead corner
I have one final request for the players, as we approach tomorrow!
I THOUGHT Curly might be a communist. If for no other reason than "all the other actually nice people are.
When the game wraps up, I'm going to be putting up a full-length game log of events that happened.
Please go back through the game
and de-private your private conversations!
oops I thought I did vote OH WELL PAUL VOTED IN HIS HEART
I private plurked you to tell you that you didn't!
either way it wouldn't have changed the outcome
I don't get pings like a fool
but yeah he would have voted for reactivation anyway
THIS WAS SUPER FUN THO man curly was the only one I didn't peg as a commy wolf. what a nice robot.
if the game was going to continue with trials I was tempted to fuck with the graveyard people like "funny how sure you are that Horace was on your side" and see if anyone tried to send out a warning message
OH I forgot about the deadland messages
oh well, you can see them when I reveal the dead posts
well between Greed and Kimbley they figured out all but one of them
I don't know how well that would have worked but it would have been funny
still can't believe robin survived
oh, and since I'm slightly baffled that this never even came up:
she made her argument well
Yomiel's strongest suspect for the final Communist was Logan, but it was pretty iffy, and Curly was definitely also on the list.
Rin came back as a Citizen but with all memories after Night 00 erased
Yomiel 100% fell for that shit.
Nice poker face for some reason, Tohsaka???
It was a good play, though.
looks like Paul's making a run for it
HE'S TESTING THE HALL FIRST he doesn't trust the computers one bit
Because $SURVALUE wasn't defined, she could make up whatever. And that was a really nice thing to have made up.
Ah, I think I see the reasoning.
Meanwhile, Phi thought Curly could have been a communist since their talk in the food sector
pfff what did she make up? I missed that bit
man I thought logan was a commy but when no one came to his defense paul was like 'nah'
Rin claimed she came back as "someone that could win with either side", since $SURVALUE wasn't a defined allegiance.
I thoguht that was just cocky rambling
Yomiel: /constantly talks about how he doesn't expect to survive to the end of the game
/survives to the end of the game
he became the protag he didn't want to be
NO ONE IS MORE CONFUSED AND DISTRAUGHT ABOUT THIS THAN YOMIEL.
True fact as soon as we got our roles I messaged Foxfire to tell her and I was like "He's totally going to do a worse job of it than the dog"
And then he was MVP by a staggering margin.
I'd say easily the biggest mistakes by the commies
were recruiting Rin, and falling for Simon as the Loyalty Officer
recruiting rin was sakura's idea
i'm enjoying the mental image of yomiel and knightely pouting in a grump corner and the rest of these assholes not even stopping so much for a bye.
it got kind of messy near the end but what can you do
I plan to run anotehr mafia game in January
a very different one, tonewise
run a super dark one and it'll be full of fluffy heroes
it's going to be not dark at all actually
that sounds like fun, actually
haha I thought Yomiel was faking the troubleshooting trigger, but
obiisama assured me that Yomiel was the real troubleshooter, apparently because that's what
hotandcoldaf told her.
THE REAL MISTAKE WAS NOT REALIZING AF IS A HUGE LIAR.
I'm gonna run one for December! I don't have the info up yet but will this weekend
for a little while I seriously thought Yomiel lied to Greed about being the Loyalty Officer
I fell for the Troubleshooter thing hook, line and sinker.
TECHNICALLY ALL I SAID WAS YOMIEL WANTED TO PUBLICLY CONFRONT HER BEFORE TROUBLESHOOTING HER IN THE FACE, which is deceptively worded but not technically a lie....
I was talking to
InstantEternity when that went down and it quickly went from "no Yomiel don't bluff" to "holy shit he's not bluffing"
God, though, I was totally primed and ready to start the next IC day with a plurk full of cackling and then Simon died instead....
How did Yomiel even talk Paul into fake-claiming?
also I should say that all of you people making theories based on Clay being scanned are wrong, Clay wasn't scanned. He was pretty much a random shot after scanning Paul.
So we knew Paul had no role anyway.
Kimbley and Simon were scanned though.
PAUL ACTUALLY VOLUNTEERED it was hilarious I got a tag from Simon going all "you need to pick someone to frame as a Loyalty Officer or they'll just kill you anyway" at the exact same time I got Paul's tag.
Not quite just as keikaku, Simon....
that whole gambit was really funny because
Bobby scanned Simon the night before
but they hadn't scanned Yomiel
so they knew Paul was full of shit
...and they knew Simon was too, but they believed Yomiel anyway?
they bought Yomiel's troubleshooter gambit
and knew Simon had A Role
and the only other role left was LOY
I was told he was definitely the troubleshooter, otherwise I would have gone after him sooner.
yeah basically paul was just like THIS IS DUMB, I'M BORED, IF I'M GONNA DIE I WANT TO DO IT MY WAY let me help you bullshit
I'm kind of laughing that Yomiel spent the entire game hogging everybody's attention and was never targeted for anything by the commies....
laughing that he was scanned early on tho, no wonder he wasn't killed
Did Bobby even bother scanning Yomiel the final night or did he just kick his feet up all "JOB'S DONE"?
so if things kept going the same way, Yomiel was dead
i'm sorry, it's my fault they believed yomiel was definitely the troubleshooter
BUT IT SERVES YOMIEL RIGHT NOT TO GET TO DIE
YOU ASSHOLES WOULD'VE BROUGHT HIM BACK ANYWAY.
God then Simon would've been alive and probably would've talked Knightley into a unanimous Reactivation vote.
