im not a huge fan of irish whiskey but I toured the distillery and felt like I should buy something, the port cask aging interested me.

That is an interesting bit for sure. The barrel makes the whiskey.

There is a distillery in connemarra that peats their irish whiskey, I wish I would have grabbed some.
