should I call him, or bypass him and call the jobs office?

I really hate being blown off. Would it kill him to shoot me an email saying he's no longer interested in the project?

it may be that he's not blowing you off. college prof types are pretty scatterbrained... in my experience.

He probably intends to call, but either lost your number, or is a procrastinator. Don't worry too much, I'm sure he'll get around to it.
